Nyani Quarmyne, born in 1973, is a freelance photographer whose work centres on global health, the environment, and the humanness we share. His focus is increasingly on ‘One Health’ themes — stories that remind us that the wellbeing of humanity, our planet and all its biodiversity must be seen as intrinsically connected. Multi-ethnic and with a life spanning five continents, Nyani is in many ways most at home on the move. He is represented by Panos Pictures and is based in Germany.
