On 23 April, the exhibition Good Girls opens at the Art Scouts Gallery in Berlin, continuing until 13 June 2015. Comprising around 30 exhibits by the artist Eva Hassmann (photography), Martina Hesse (sculpture), Josephine Kaiser (sculpture), Jutta Kritsch (painting) and Caterina Rancho (photography), the group exhibition offers a multi-faceted exploration of the work of contemporary women artists.

Short-story in pictures
The exhibition is predominantly centred on photographs by Eva Hassmann (born 1972). Known for her work as an actress, she simultaneously studied film directing at the UCLA. Her first short film, titled Mad Lane, received international acclaim at numerous film and short film festivals, including an award for Best Short Film at the Sacramento International Film Festival in California. Hassmann's first photographic series – titled House Wives – is an emotionally charged short story told in pictures, in which the photographer embodies a complex scope of female characters in different locations along the American West Coast.
