Studied Photography at the Industrial Art School in Gothenburg in the late 1980s. This was followed by a job as Art Director and Photographer in the advertising industry. Since 2009, Andersson has worked as an art and nature photographer. He has published 13 books, and received over 60 international awards (2011–2025). His images have been exhibited in over 20 countries around the world.
