Born in 1966 in Ziegenhain, Hesse, Germany, his career as a photographer only truly began in 2017, when he purchased a Leica. Since then, he takes photos almost every day, covering a variety of topics. During the summer months in particular, he dedicates himself to macrophotography, spending hours out in nature. Photo projects such as Old Field Barns and Fairytale Trees and Forests are a testimony to this.
