Born in Hanover in 1937, Lambers began studying Engineering in Berlin in 1957. He then worked as a Systems Consultant for IBM from 1965 to 1993, including six years spent in Eastern Europe. In 1986, he founded the publishing house ex pose, dedicated to subjective documentary photography in particular. Lambers lives in Berlin. The exhibition held in August 2022, at the Haus am Kleistpark in Berlin, will be shown at further locations.
