Born in Brazil in 1979, Fernanda Peruzzo is a photographer and journalist who works freelance, and develops personal projects where fictional narratives and reality are mixed together, offering a new way of questioning issues of contemporary lifestyles, local culture and stereotypes. She is currently based in Berlin, where she attended the international program at the Neue Schule für Fotografie.

At the beginning of 2018 the Neue Schule für Fotografie held a workshop and an internal competition with Leica cameras that was open to all students of the school. The winner is Fernanda Peruzzo, who photographed older protestors in Berlin.
