Born in 1983, the Armenian photographer is a member of VII Photo and National Geographic Explorer. She was the winner of the 2023 World Press Photo Long-Term Project Awards and the 2023 Prix Photo Terre Solidaire. In 2024 her Nagorno-Karabakh War and Exodus series made it onto the LOBA shortlist. Her pictures have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post and National Geographic, among others.
