=11pxBorn in Johor Bahru, Malaysia in 1993, the city lies directly on the border with Singapore. Lay discovered and taught herself photography when she was a teenager. She has a Doctorate in Psychology. A deep interest in human behaviour and the genius loci play a big role in her photographic approach to her subjects. Alixe Lay divides her time between=11px  =11pxLondon and Malaysia.
