Born in 1978, Ahmet Polat is a Turkish-Dutch photographer who studied at the St. Joost Academy in the Netherlands. He was the first Turkish photographer ever to be given the International Center of Photography’s Infinity Award in the Young Photographer’s category. Polat has been exhibited in a variety of galleries and museums in the Netherlands and in Turkey. He has also had his commercial and fashion photographs published in international magazines, such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and the New York Times.
