Strange normality
Philipp Keel does not depict reality. Instead, he merely alludes to it, concentrating the viewer's perception through a deliberate distortion of the image. His approach challenges the viewer to experience their own subjective interpretation of reality. For Keel, light and form are two vital elements of visual art that must inevitably be synchronised with one other.
