Anarchy in the UK

September 16, 2019

The exhibition ‘Anarchie du Royaume-Uni’ with works by Leica photographer Yan Morvan is on display at the SIT DOWN gallery in Paris from September 15 to October 18, 2019.
The SIT DOWN gallery presents an exhibition of works by Yan Morvan: the showcase ‘Anarchie du Royaume-Uni’ will be on display from September 15 to October 18, 2019.

To mark the release of the Leica photographer’s latest book publication, titled ‘Les années de fer’ (Years of Iron), the Parisian gallery presents a selection of works created in England during the late 1970s – a legendary era that is forever etched into our minds as the golden age of British subculture.

Yan Morvan (born 1954 in Paris) has won multiple awards for his reportages on war and crisis zones around the world, including the Robert Capa Award and – on two occasions – the World Press Photo Award.
