River Nature People

The German Association for the Environment and Nature Preservation (BUND) has launched a photo competition with the title River Nature People. The aim is to draw attention to the biological diversity and the significance of rivers in people's daily lives. Starting July 14, river lovers are invited to submit their best river images.
The pictures should show the relationship between people and the river – rowing, fishing, paddling or swimming in the water. Nature pictures that show the beauty of the river and its species diversity are also welcome. The winners will receive high quality prizes totalling 2000 euros in value.
The best picture will be recognized with a rubber tube kayak manufactured by Gumotex. Submissions deadline September 15.
