Documentary film maker and street photographer
The London-based photographer and cameraman is not only one of the most notable representatives of British documentary film, but also of classic black and white photography.
The photographic oeuvre of the 102 year-old was only discovered in Germany in recent years by gallery-owner Hilaneh von Kories. After its Hamburg première in 2009, the I am a Lucky Man exhibition will now be on display in Berlin.
Wolf Suschitzky, one of the last witnesses and protagonists of German-speakers exiled in Great Britain, will come to the opening in Berlin.
