5th Merck Award

Under this year's theme of 'Reflection - Aesthetic References', the 8th edition of the Darmstadt Days of Photography will take place from 25 to 27 April 2014. The Darmstädter Tage der Fotografie Merck Award will be awarded as part of the event for the fifth time.

In December 2013, a jury will nominate three photographers featured in event's main programme. The winner, who stands to receive 7,000 euros, will be honoured during the Darmstädter Tage der Fotografie in April 2014, with the other two nominees receiving 1,500 euros each. The jury consists of the event's four initiators as well as Ute Noll (on-photography.com) and Prof. Kris Scholz (h_da Darmstadt).
