Macro-Elmar-M 90 mm f/4

The Macro-Elmar-M 90 mm f/4 can be used either as a compact 90 mm tele lens, or combined with the Leica Macro Adapter M for macro shots up to a magnification of 1:2. In both instances, the imaging performance of the lens is outstanding.

Without the adapter, the Macro-Elmar-M 90 mm f/4 is an extremely versatile tele lens suitable for a range of applications, from creating portraits with a shallow depth of field to capturing landscape details in travel photography. In reportage photography, it enables discrete shots at greater distances from the subject.

Combined with the Macro-Adapter-M, the lens offers a convenient solution for close distance photography using the Live View function of the Leica M (Typ 240). This means that the M's area of application is extended to include macro photography, with a maximum reproduction ratio of 1:2 and closest focusing distance of 41 cm.

Lens and adapter are designed to be perfectly coordinated with one another, so that the Macro Elmar can be focused all the way to infinity in its retracted position while it is attached to the adapter.
