From February 19 to April 16, 2016, the Johannes Faber Gallery is presenting works from the 'Women Are Better Than Men' and 'Women Are Beautiful' series by Garry Winogrand (1928–1984). These series bring together photographs that the Leica photographer and master of street photography took between 1969 and 1980.
Taking in as diverse locations as Beverly Hills, Venice, New York or Houston – they show spontaneous and un-contrived portraits of mothers, cheer leaders, friends and business women.
