Tickets now available for the Look3 Festival in Charlottesville, Virginia, from June 10 to 13, 2015. This year, David Alan Harvey, Larry Fink, Alec Soth, Vincent J. Musi, Monica Haller, Zanele Muholi, Walter Iooss, Potr Naskrecki and Monica Haller will be there with their Veterans Book Project.
In 1988, National Geographic photographer Michael “Nick” Nichols began inviting his friends every summer to a picture exhibition in his garden. This developed into the Look3 Festival, that invites friends of photography to enjoy numerous exhibitions and events over a long week-end.
Following the tradition of personal photo displays, all the photographers make individual presentations of their work. On Saturday, David Alan Harvey is presenting pictures from his Brazil series – from Copacabana to Salvador da Bahia, from the beaches to the colourful Carnival parades. The Magnum photographer will also been holding an autograph session. You can get a full impression of Harvey's pictures in the M Magazine, available as of May 15, 2015.
