From September 5 to 27, 2020, the Swiss town of Vevey is once again transformed into one vast exhibition venue: for three weeks, 59 photographers from 17 countries will present their work in the form of 49 indoor and outdoor showcases.
Under the heading of ‘Unexpected. Le Hasard des Choses’, this year’s festival edition sets out to explore the phenomenon of coincidence and the randomness of fate. Among the diverse range of participating artists are Aladin Borioli, Stephen Shore, Matt Stuart, Hayahisa Tomiyasu, Alberto Vieceli, Annie Wang, Alain Bublex, Brodbeck & de Barbuat, Juno Calypso and Jean-Marie Donat, to name but a few. The comprehensive programme also includes events, performances and encounters with many of the represented artists.
