The fourth annual Tim Hetherington Grant has been awarded to William Daniels. The French photographer, who is represented by the London-based agency Panos Pictures, was chosen for his project on the recent history of the Central African Republic.
Roots of Africa’s Unholy War documents the unfolding drama of a country plunged into chaos and violent conflict. The 20,000 euro grant will enable Daniels to complete the project, which was selected from 198 entries.
