For the third time, the Swiss town of Olten welcomes the elite of international photography: from August 25 to 29, 2021 audiences can gain unique insights into the creative approaches of some of the world’s leading photographers. This year’s keynote speakers include the acclaimed photographer and film-maker Anton Corbijn, iconic French portrait photographer Brigitte Lacombe, British photojournalist and Magnum photographer Stuart Franklin, the multi-award-winning Swiss war photographer Dominic Nahr, as well as fine-art & fashion photographer Erik Madigan Heck.
The IPFO Haus der Fotografie, in collaboration with World Press Photo, honours the achievements of photojournalists by presenting the best news images and photo reportages of the past year. The newly added Photoville 4600 exhibition offers exclusive insights into the work of Switzerland’s most outstanding photographers. The showcase forms the centrepiece of this year’s edition, which is supported by festival partner Leica Switzerland.
