Call for Entries: Eastern Europe Research Prize

Submissions for the Eastern Europe Research Prize close on April 21, 2021. The grant is designed to fund the research and production of time-consuming, travel-intensive social reportages. Every year, up to two extensive projects on Eastern Europe are supported by the € 7,000 grant. The call for entries is aimed at professional journalists whose work is published in German-language print media. Applications can be made by individuals or teams.

This year marks the 8th edition of the Eastern Europe Research Prize, which is organised by the Catholic relief organisation ‘Renovabis’ and the Protestant welfare initiative ’Hope for Eastern Europe’. The Network for Reporting on Eastern Europe (n-ost) serves as the award’s cooperation partner.
