Maxim Marmur / People of Coal / Photographer of the Year Award 2018
The submission period for the Moscow International Foto Awards 2019 continues until 28 February 2019. Photographers of all nationalities are invited to enter their work in either the professional or newcomer division – with an Early Bird discount for those applying by 31 December 2018.
The 2018 edition of the coveted award attracted outstanding submissions by established and emerging photographers from 90 countries. The main award went to Maxim Marmur for his striking black-and-white series ‘People of Coal’, while Japanese photographer Masumi Shiohara was named ‘Talent of the Year 2018’ for his project ‘Identification of Cultivars’.
