As Official Photography Partner of Photokina 2016, Leica will be staging the Masters of Photography exhibition at the world photography trade fair.
Every day up until the opening of the Photokina on September 20, we will be presenting one of the pictures series. Today it is Selections by Alex Webb.
In a special collaboration with Leica, this exhibition of pictures by Alex Webb presents his personal selection from his multi-faceted and considerable life’s work. The collection offers an exemplary overview of nearly three decades of his colour photography. Besides India, Greece, Grenada and Haiti, the exhibition is primarily made up of images captured in Cuba and Mexico, where he travelled on numerous occasions, mostly frequently accompanied by his photographer wife, Rebecca Norris Webb.
