This year’s Lianzhou International Photo Festival is once again under the creative leadership of co-founder and director Duan Yuting, along with the festival’s co-director, Francois Cheval. The event is set to take place in the city of Lianzhou (Guangdong Province, Southern China) from 1 December 2018 to 3 January 2019.
Compiled by an experienced team of curators, the impressive festival programme ranges from theme-specific exhibitions such as ‘The Wind of
Time’ (featuring works by Yann Mingard, Salvatore Vitale, Christiane Geoffroy, Tobias Zielony, etc.) to numerous group and solo exhibitions, as well as a section dedicated to the topic of photo books on the basis of Germany’s ‘Fotobookfestival Kassel’. This year’s artist-in-residence is Chinese photographer Li Jianhong.
