What you see is who you are

The Leica Galerie NRW is hosting the exhibition ‘What you see is who you are’ by Szymon Brodziak up until September 22, 2018. It brings together a selection of impressive black and white pictures from the world of fashion.

Brodziak turned his back on the family business to dedicate himself fully to photography. Today he is a well-known photographer in the fashion world, and is passionate about extravagant photo shoots. In additions, he runs galleries is Poznan and Warsaw.

Since 2006, Brodziak has won a variety of international awards at competitions in the USA and Europe, as well as various medals and ‘honourable mentions’ – for both his professional work as well as his own, personal projects. Brodziak won, among others, the Johnnie Walker Keep Walking Award, for the “continuous fulfilment of his dreams and the inexhaustible passion he puts into his search for new ways to present beauty”. In 2015 he was introduced as the youngest photographer by the Helmut Newton Foundation Berlin.
