A new solo exhibition by German photographer Miron Zownir (born 1953) will be showing at Cologne's Hardhitta Gallery from April 1 to June 11, 2016. Famous for his photographs of Western capitals such as Berlin, London and New York, as well his portrayals of post-communist Eastern Europe, Zownir has been hailed as one of the most radical photographers of our time.
The darker side of human existence
Many of his photographs capture those on the fringes of society – from drug addicts and the homeless to prostitutes and petty criminals – offering a candid insight into worlds that are normally hidden from public view.
