The Hardhitta Gallery in Cologne presents a new solo exhibition with works by Miron Zownir. The artist will be attending the opening reception, which takes place on 25 March from 18.00 to 22.00.
The exhibition BERLIN NOIR – Pictures of a City from 1978 to 2016 with works by Miron Zownir will be open at the Hardhitta Gallery in Cologne from 28 March to 27 May 2017. Zownir is widely regarded as one of the most radical representatives of contemporary photography. The artist will be attending the opening reception, which takes place on 25 March from 18.00 to 22.00.

The exhibition has been curated from the artist’s most recent book, BERLIN NOIR (Pogo Books Publishing), in which he documents the timeless urban melancholy as well as the wilder side of life in Berlin in the form of cityscapes and portraits. At the same time, the photographs culminate into a retrospective spanning the years from 1978 to 2016.

Miron Zownir was born in Karlsruhe, Germany, in 1953. He lives and works in Berlin.
