Timeless Beauty

March 25, 2019

The F11 Photographic Museum in Hong Kong presents images of Audrey Hepburn, seen through the eyes of the renowned Hollywood photographer Bob Willoughby. The showcase continues until 27 July 2019.
Film and fashion icon Audrey Hepburn would have celebrated her 90th birthday this year. 2019 also marks ten years since the passing of Bob Willoughby (1927–2009), one of Hollywood’s leading on-set photographers of the 1950s, 60s and 70s – who was not only a great admirer of Hepburn’s work, but also became a close personal friend.

The exhibition ‘Audrey by Bob Willoughby’ features 90 photographs, taken during the 1950s and 60s period when the actress was at the peak of her fame. Among them are stills from her best-known movies such as Green Mansions, The Children’s Hour, Paris When It Sizzles, My Fair Lady and Two For The Road. However, the showcase also includes rare candid shots captured behind the scenes – highlighting Hepburn’s different roles as an actress, style icon and mother.
