Salty Light

June 11, 2017

On 21 June 2017 the Aplanat Gallery in Hamburg is hosting the vernissage of ‘Salziges Licht’ (Salty Light), an exhibition by Christian and Helga von Alvensleben.
The vernissage for the exhibition Salziges Licht will be held at the Aplanat Gallery in Hamburg on 21 June 2017, at 18:00. The presentation of works by Christian and Helga von Alvensleben will be on display – for viewing by arrangement – until 2 July.

In recent years, Christian and Helga von Alvensleben have been photographing the enormous, raw cliffs of Finistère along the Atlantic coast of Brittany, the majestic waves near Nazaré in Portugal, and archaic fishermen and their homes on the island of Lanzarote.

The Salziges Licht exhibition comprises their personal selection of 23 motifs. The silver-gelatin, hand-made prints by Recom Art are numbered, signed, dated and stamped with the photographers’ embossed seal.
