From 20 June to 30 August, the Frankfurter Kunstverein presents a comprehensive show of works by U.S. American artist Trevor Paglen. Under the title of 'The Octopus', the exhibition addresses the theme of surveillance and government interference.
Paglen approaches his topic in intensely colourful images of landscapes in the era of Big Data, as well as numerous photographic series on military locations and secret surveillance techniques. This is complemented by the artist's video material, as well as documents collated during Paglen's extensive investigatory research.
