A fleeting spark, a radiant beam, a soft glow: the group exhibition Etheral. Photographic Art from Norway revolves around the nature and subtleties of light. Norwegian artists A K Dolven, Dag Alveng and Linn Pedersen use videos, installations and traditional photographic techniques to harness the extraordinary light variations that imbue their home country with an often mystical atmosphere.
At the same time, the exhibition provides a fascinating insight into Norway’s contemporary photography scene by presenting the work of three of its most prominent representatives in one showcase for the first time.
