Toby Binder wins Felix Schoeller Photo Award 2019 in Gold

The winners of the Felix Schoeller Photo Award 2019 were revealed and celebrated on October 19, 2019.

The five category winners, best newcomer photographer and overall winner of the Felix Schoeller Photo Award 2019 have been announced: the jury selected Toby Binder (Germany) as the winner of the Portrait category, Daniel Reiter (Germany) in the category Landscapes/Nature, Julia Bezhanova (Russia) in Fashion Photography, Alexey Vasilyev (Russia) in Photojournalism/Editorial, and Sarah Tröster (Germany) in the category of Free Choice/Conceptual Photography. This year’s Newcomer Award went to German photographer Maximilian Mann.

In addition to his category win, Toby Binder was chosen as the recipient of the Felix Schoeller Photo Award in Gold, having impressed the jury with his outstanding series ‘Wee Muckers – Youth of Belfast’.
