As part of the Arles Contemporain summer programme, the Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation (MROF) showcases a range of photographic works under the banner of ‘The Pioneers’. From July 3 to September 5, 2020, five parallel exhibitions by selected reportage photographers focus on the crisis zones and new frontiers of today’s world. The represented photographers are Wu Cheng-Chang, Mathias Benguigui & Agathe Kalfas, Sylvie Léget, Pablo Ernesto Piovano, and Andréa Olga Mantovani.
In addition, visitors are invited to explore the creative achievements of multi-talented French artist Boris Vian, who worked as a writer, jazz trumpeter, chansonnier, actor and translator.
