Born in 1945, Weger began taking photographs when he was 16 years old, but first studied Mechanical Engineering. He was 33 when he turned his passion into a career. Among others, Weger documented large open-air festivals such as the Moscow Music Peace Festival, the Scorpions when they appeared as the first western band to perform in Russia, and the concert tours of international artists in Germany. The photographer’s pictures have appeared in many specialist magazines and books.
