They just want to play

From February 8 to March 11, 2017, the OUKAN Concept Store in Berlin is presenting Actors, an exhibition including 18 of Anatole Kotte’s more notorious portraits of actors, most of which were taken in black and white. Among the iconic actors are Jeff Goldblum, Ewan McGregor and Geraldine Chaplin, in addition to German actors such as Til Schweiger, Natalia Wörner, Moritz Bleibtreu and Matthias Schweighöfer.

Anatole Kotte has played in the first league of assignment photographers for over 20 years. Already in the early years, the Hamburg-based photographer developed a preference for portraits, which he quickly perfected. His clients include stern, ZEIT, Tempo, brigitte and Wiener, among others.
