Image 2: “Last year I organised an exhibition to collect donations for children in need. This image received the highest bid. It depicts a woman at prayer inthe beautiful Sultan Qaboos Great Mosque in Muscat, Oman. A light beam illuminates the impressive architecture, giving the photograph a sacred feel.” – Carlo Bertacca
Image 3: “I photographed this symbolic scene in Osaka, Japan. When I imaginethe world beyond the window, I’m filled with a child-like sense of adventure and curiosity. I want to explore the countless stories this horizon promises. Through the eyes of a child, the world outside the window is a wondrous place that needsto be explored.” – Hyeong Seon Ryu
Image 4: “During a Leica Academy workshop with photographer Jesse Marlow, we were invited to try our hand at street photography and discover our own style. The image poses a question about location. The answer may surprise: it’s the car park in Cabramatta, Sydney, near a Vietnamese community.” – Garry Gordon
Image 5: “The Abrahamic Family House is an intercultural complex in Abu Dhabi. It unites church, mosque and synagogue in unique architecture. A security guard stood at the building entrance. The lighting and atmosphere were so serene that I felt the need to capture the moment.” – Sun Xuhui
Image 6: “As singer of the band La Poem, I’m lucky to travel to many countries. During my first trip to the United States, I had some time before a fan meetup, so I took my camera onto the streets of Los Angeles where I discovered this church. I loved the bright colours of the walls, sky and wheel rims of the oldtimer.” – You Chae Hoon
Image 7: “I took this picture during Semana Santa in Málaga, Spain. The image shows the throne bearers during the procession. The thrones are massive and require many people to carry them. I wanted to capture the unity of the participants and their dedication to the ceremonial process.” – Artem Kanaki
Image 8: “This picture was taken in Beijing’s business district. Itis meant to provoke thought about the relationship between people and their urban environments. The diagonals symbolise instability, while the edge of the roof is the end of the world. I see this image as a warning.” – Chris Yan
