Now in its 8th year, Plat(t)form is a curated portfolio viewing event which presents the work of emerging European photography artists to industry experts as well as a public audience. This year's event will take place on the last weekend of January at the Fotomuseum Winterthur, Switzerland.
While predominantly aimed at industry professionals such as curators, gallery owners, publishers and photographers, Plat(t)form 2014 is also a unique opportunity for visitors to discover new works and meet the 42 up-and-coming artists who created them.
The industry experts at this year's event are: Simon Baker, Curator of Photography, Tate Modern, London; Karol Hordziej, Artistic Director, Photomonth Krakow; Shirana Shahbazi, artist, Zurich; Laurence Vecten, collector, photo-blogger and publisher, Paris; Duncan Forbes and Thomas Seelig, both Fotomuseum Winterthur.
