Temple of Photography

Share:

From December 1st to 8th, 2012, the Southeast Asian ‘Angkor Photo Festival’ is taking place for the eighth time in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The city of Siem Reap is the gateway to the magnificent Angkor Wat, the largest temple complex in the world. Once a year, this spectacular setting becomes the center of Asian photography, with exhibitions, seminars and workshops taking place both in and out of doors. The programme includes eight evenings of elaborate light-projected slide shows showcasing the work of over 110 photographers, as well as a selection of images chosen by three guest curators. Amongst the festival's many exhibitions and events there is also the annual free photography workshop for the children of ‘Anjali House’, which was initiated by Magnum photographer Antoine d’Agata at the first Angkor Photo Festival.
