In conjunction with their current exhibition "Look at Me", the Art Collection Deutsche Börse presents a new event series titled "Art Talks". On Wednesday 21 August, Munich based art historian Ann-Katrin Harfensteller will be offering a guided tour and follow-on talk at "The Cube" in Eschborn.
The Art Collection's current exhibition "Look at Me" comprises of around 100 photographs addressing the themes of portraiture and identity – representing the Collection's 14-year history.
The selected images, which will be on display until the end of August, illustrate the wide range of approaches to self-presentation available to us today.
The works of 17 international artists – including Rineke Dijkstra, Alberto Garcia-Alix, Seydou Keita, Thomas Struth and Tobias Zielony – take the viewer on a fascinating journey through the history of the photographic depiction of man.
