Leica Camera AG are relocating to Wetzlar. Despite of ice and snow, construction works seem to be progressing well: Michael Agel has the latest photographs.

Leica Camera AG are relocating their headquaters from Solms to the Leitz-Park in Wetzlar. Leica photographer Michel Agel is keeping a photographic diary of the construction works. The new premises are being built on a surface area of around 27,000 m2, and are scheduled for completion in November 2013.

New Leica Camera headquarters
Construction is currently under way on a contemporary new building, which will house Production, Administration and Customer Care, and is designed to accommodate around 600 employees. For visiting photography and Leica fans, the new premises will also feature openly visible production areas, a photography studio, restaurant, Leica Museum, as well as a Leica Gallery and Store.
