For the seventh time, the picturesque town of St. Moritz in the Engadin valley (Switzerland) will serve as the backdrop for the art and culture festival St. Moritz Art Masters. The event, which is also supported by Leica, will take place from 22 to 31 August 2014.
This year's festival predominantly revolves around India, and offers an exploration of the country's vibrant contemporary art scene. The wide range of works by both new and established artists includes site-specific installations as well as insights into Indian Classical Modernism.
The event is further distinguished by its unconventional exhibition venues, which form the basis for the festival's Walk of Art: the high-carat selection of predominantly Indian, but also Swiss and international contemporary art will be displayed across a range of public and private spaces, creating an entirely unique experience.
