On November 16th, 2012, a unique selection of photographs will be auctioned at Sotheby's of Paris. To mark the 65th anniversary of MAGNUM Photos, an exclusive portfolio has been compiled, which is dedicated to the theme of the Nude – an unusual subject for the cooperative's photographers, who are better known for their critical eye in chronicling world events. The images can be viewed from November 13th to 15th, and include works by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Eve Arnold, Paolo Pellegrin and Harry Gruyaert, as well as outstanding prints by Man Ray, André Kertèsz and August Sander.
Across the pond, Sotheby's of New York will be hosting the auction "A Show of Hands: Photographs from the Collection of Henry Buhl" on December 12th and 13th.
