Outstanding!

iF Industry Forum Design has been holding the iF Awards and acknowledging outstanding design on a yearly basis since 1953. Judged by a jury of international experts, the iF Design Awards are considered among the most important international design awards today: being labelled as an iF winner is a stamp of quality recognized around the world.

Producers and designers can submit their work in three areas: product design, communications design and packaging design. It is an opportunity taken advantage of by large, global concerns, as well as small and medium-size companies, agencies and design offices.

In the iF Communication Design Award category, the Leica S-Magazine #3 has won the 2014 iF Gold Award.

For this third issue of the S-Magazine, London star photographer Rankin, a great fan of the Leica S System, collaborated with renowned hair stylists to create The Rankin Issue. With 178 impressive pages, it includes nine exclusive photo series and nine different covers. Tom Leifer Design and Rankin Studio were in charge of the design and the high quality print.

Winners of the 2014 iF Gold Awards will be honoured on February 28, 2014, during the iF Design Awards Night at BMW Welt in Munich.
