Every year, the Kolga Tbilisi Photo Festival honours the achievements of photographers from around the world. At this year's event, Kai Löffelbein's series "Hidden Hong Kong" was selected winner in the category of Reportage.
In Hong Kong, around 130,000 people live in rented cages. With the support of LFI, Löffelbein was able to travel to Hong Kong last December in order to document the city's housing situation – the full story is featured in LFI 4/2013.
Further winners are Vlad Sokhin for his documentary series on child slavery in Haiti, and Donna J Wan, whose project "In the Landscape" won in the Conceptual Photo category. Dina Oganova was awarded the Special Prize for her series on Georgia.
