The short list for the fifth Prix Pictet with the theme 'Consumption', was announced at the Musée d’Art Moderne
The short list for the fifth Prix Pictet with the theme 'Consumption', was announced at the Musée d’Art Moderne.

The jury selected a total of eleven artists from among 650 portfolios:
Adam Bartos, Allan Sekula and Laurie Simmons from the United States, Motoyuki Daifu from Japan, Rineke Dijkstra from The Netherlands, Hong Hao from China, Mishka Henner from Belgium, Juan Fernando Herrán from Colombia, Boris Mikhailov from the Ukraine, Abraham Oghobase from Nigeria and Michael Schmidt from Germany.

Kofi Annan will announce the happy winner of the 100,000.- CHF prize at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, on May 21, 2014. The works of all the finalists will be exhibited in London from May 22 to June 14, 2014.
