Picturesque Ireland

Workshops, portfolio reviews, exhibitions, talks, new books and networking opportunities: all of the vital hallmarks of a great photography festival can currently be found in the Irish capital of Dublin, where PhotoIreland continues until 31 July. Among the featured artists are Rob Hornstra and Arnold van Bruggen, whose long-term photographic enterprise The Sochi Project will be exhibited at the City Hall.

Exchange and Dialogue
For the festival's founder and director Ángel Luis González Fernández, the true priority of the event is to make the medium of photography accessible to a wider pubic and open up a dialogue. This year, the vibrant festival once again encourages visitors' active participation – Ireland, here we come!
