Photographer Petra Arnold (1966) has been internationally recognised since 2001. Her work invariably focuses on human nature – including human nudity. Her latest project 'Eva, Cora, Lilofee' is a collection of no less than three photographic series.
With her visual exploration of the world's oldest profession, Arnold opens the door to a world that has forever held a secret fascination – not just for photographers. A part of society that usually stays concealed is finally revealed within the mysterious space of the darkroom. Coated, laminated and framed, Arnold's scenes become documents of a moment in time.
In addition to the exhibition, a book featuring a selection of Arnold's images has also been published.
