Emerging European photographers are set to take over Paris from 20 April to 30 June 2019: workshops, events and an exciting collaboration with Romania distinguish this year’s Circulation(s) Festival.

The main exhibition programme of this year’s festival edition is centred around 37 up-and-coming European photographers, including Hélène Bellenger, Emilie Ducke, Margaret Mitchell and Łukasz Rusznica. Audrey Hoareau and François Cheval, known as the artist duo ‘The Red Eye’, have been appointed as the festival’s creative directors.

In addition to the main programme, British photography artist Natasha Caruana will be offering workshops with a focus on optimising creative productivity, aptly titled ‘Work – Show – Grow’. Portuguese gallerist Adorna Corações presents a special exhibition dedicated to multi-disciplinary art-forms. The festival also includes the children’s exhibition ‘Little Circulation(s)’, specifically geared towards young visitors from ages 5 to 12.

The works of four remarkable Romanian artists – Iona Cîrlig, Felicia Simion, and the duo Mihai and Horatiu Șovăială – will also be introduced in the context of a French-Romanian cultural exchange.
