On April 28, the Infinity Awards ceremony will be held in New York for the 30th time
On April 28, the Infinity Awards ceremony will be held at Pier Sixty, Chelsea, New York. This year, Leica photographer Jürgen Schadeberg will be honoured with the Cornell Capa Lifetime Achievement Award. The Johannesburg-based, German photographer, who some like to call the “father of South African photography”, became known for his images showing the lives of black South African in Johannesburg in the fifties. For a long time, when he worked for Drum magazine, he was the mouthpiece for the black avant-garde.

In addition, James Welling (Art), Steven Klein (Fashion), Stephanie Sinclar and Jessica Dimmoch (photo journalism) will be honoured in their respective categories. Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin will receive an award for their Holy Bible publication, and Samuel A. James the newcomer award.
