A silver anodized version of two of Leica's fastest lenses will be released soon
Previously only available in a black finish, two of Leica's most light sensitive lenses are soon to be available in an additional silver version. The new silver-finish Noctilux-M 50 mm f/0.95 Asph and Summilux-M 35 mm f/1.4 Asph will be presented at the upcoming Photokina. All technical aspects of the lenses are unchanged, and the lens barrel continues to be made of aluminium.

There is, however, a difference in price – the silver anodized models will retail for around 200 euros more than the black version. This silver edition was primarily designed for owners of a chromium-plated Leica M who would like to coordinate the appearance of their camera and lens.

The silver-version Noctilux-M 50 mm f/0.95 Asph and Summilux-M 35 mm 1.4 Asph will be available at the end of november.
